I stayed at Hotel Harshikhar, Bhimtal with my family for one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The rooms were beautifully maintained, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the service throughout our stay was quick and efficient. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and the evening entertainment added a special touch to our stay. One of the highlights was the breathtaking lake view from our room, which made the experience even more memorable. A special thanks to Yogesh from Housekeeping for being very attentive, helpful, and ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. I would also like to appreciate Mansi from Reception, who was highly professional, courteous, and excellent in her role. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel Harshikhar offers great hospitality, beautiful views, excellent food, and outstanding service. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bhimtal and look forward to staying here again in the future.

We were a group of seven couples from Nepal on a relaxing holiday. We flew from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi and then traveled by road in four SUVs, crossing into India through the Gadda Chauki (Mahendranagar, Nepal) – Banbasa (Uttarakhand, India) border. After about a 4½-hour drive, we reached Bhimtal and stayed at Hotel Harshikhar for two nights. Choosing Hotel Harshikhar turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. The hotel offers a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. It is an excellent choice for families, though couples and solo travelers will also enjoy their stay. What makes it even better is that it is very budget-friendly, offering excellent value for money without compromising on comfort or service. The staff are exceptionally courteous, attentive, and well-trained. The service is impressively quick, and their hospitality truly stands out. One thing that particularly impressed us was the restaurant service. Even if you are dining alone, a staff member is always attentive and ready to assist without being intrusive. It reflects the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and served promptly. Every meal we had was enjoyable. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. While they are not luxury five-star rooms, they have everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The hotel is centrally located in Bhimtal, making it convenient to visit the lake and nearby temple. During our stay, I genuinely could not find any shortcomings worth mentioning. Everything—from cleanliness to hospitality and overall management—was excellent. As for Bhimtal itself, it is a peaceful destination. However, if someone is planning a sightseeing holiday in this region, I would personally recommend Nainital over Bhimtal. Nainital offers more attractions, a livelier atmosphere, and, because of its higher altitude, generally more pleasant weather. During our visit, Bhimtal felt quite warm, so we did not enjoy sightseeing as much as we had expected. Ironically, the most memorable part of our stay in Bhimtal was the wonderful experience at Hotel Harshikhar. After spending two wonderful nights here, we continued our journey to Jim Corbett. I would happily stay at Hotel Harshikhar again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly, clean, comfortable, family-friendly hotel with outstanding hospitality, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere. Hotel Harshikhar Had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Harshikhar, Bhimtal for our corporate team outbound. We booked 12 rooms for 2 days, and everything was managed seamlessly. The highlight of our stay was definitely the food — absolutely amazing and one of the best we’ve experienced during any team trip. The hospitality was top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout.
