The Riverview Retreat

Our stay at The Riverview Retreat was absolutely wonderful! We reached before the official check-in time, and to our surprise, the staff allotted us a room within just 10 minutes. That warm welcome itself made a great first impression. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. One thing I really loved was that the resort has back-to-back activities for guests. Since there aren’t many places to explore around Jim Corbett, you can easily spend your entire day enjoying everything the resort has to offer. I especially want to thank the housekeeping staff. My little one had completely messed up the room, and I had planned to call housekeeping but forgot because, as every parent knows, kids keep you constantly occupied! 😅 When I returned, I was pleasantly surprised to see the room had already been cleaned. I don’t know who did it, but thank you so much. That small gesture truly made my day❤️ Every corner of the property is beautifully maintained and picture-perfect. They had great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious “just make sure to include brkfst and dinner along with booking otherwise the rates are on higher side if you directly go and select from menu” if you walk just 5-10 min from this resort outside also you will find good budget friendly cafe and restaurants to have your lunch. **At first, you may feel the room rates are a bit on the higher side, but after experiencing the hospitality, facilities, service, and overall ambience, I can confidently say it’s completely worth it. I would definitely recommend Riverview Retreat to anyone visiting Jim Corbett☺️👌

It is a very good place to visit especially when you're traveling with your family and friends. I had booked a cottage, and it was very spacious and luxurious. They also had a large living room with a small kitchen. The service was also very good. The staff was very polite and kind and if we wanted to order basic things like ice bucket,towels etc. it would come in minutes. The food, extraordinary. The restaurant was also very nice. We knew that the food was fresh as there was a live counter from which we could see that the chef's were cooking the breads from. The rooms were also warm and cosy. AC was also working absolutely fine. And the view of the river, absolutely perfect. They have made seperate decks to view the river from. Overall it was one of the best experiences me and my family ever had. Would absolutely recommend to visit this place with family and friends.

I wish i could give more than 5 stars. Service is above and beyond starting from front desk , swimming pool, in room services , restaurant. They really treat you the way you want to get treated. Superb staff. Shristi at front desk helped us out to show around while we were checking in. Restaurant staff super kid friendly. i typically don't write reviews, but the experience I got at this resort, i have to write and let others know. Rooms were super clean . we took duplex room and it was very spacious . Pool well maintained. Ambience inside this property is amazing and if you are not staying here, you are missing something . Our kids loved it. Chai in evening along with snacks, mocktail is something must have. Cannot find anything negative with this resort . Beautiful live music in evening and in morning also. The Riverview Retreat deck has beautiful view of river Kosi

Had an amazing stay at the resort—truly a beautiful property with lush green landscapes and exceptional service throughout. The food, especially the meals, was absolutely delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. We celebrated our son’s first birthday here, and it turned out to be a perfect venue—everything was handled wonderfully, making the occasion even more special. A special mention to Mr. Naveen Bisht, the F&B Manager, and his team. They are incredibly attentive, professional, and well attuned to guests’ preferences and needs. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some quality time. A must-visit—and do meet Mr. Bisht, a truly impressive and professional personality.
