Drive to Corbett Forest Lodge Dhikala
You’ll be welcomed by our representative at Ramnagar or the Resorts in Jim Corbett you will be staying in, who’ll assist you in boarding your gypsy for your tour of Dhikala. You’ll enter from Dhangarhi gate which is 18 kms from Ramnagar city and will drive for another 32 kms through the dense forest to reach Dhikala Forest Rest House. Dhikala is the most sought after places for Wildlife lovers and Photographers due to higher chances of sighting wildlife in their natural environment, specially Royal Bengal Tiger and Wild Asian Elephants. You’ll have you lunch at the canteen after your check in and then you’ll leave for your first game drive through the forests and grasslands of Dhikala. After the safari, dinner will again be served at the canteen. After that we recommend you to take a good sleep as you’ll have to wake up early the next day. Image
Full Day Jeep Safari at Dhikala
Get up early and be ready to leave for your early morning safari to enjoy the majestic landscapes of Dhikala. Take your cameras in your hand and be ready to take photographs as you may have an encounter with the king of the jungle at any moment. You’ll be back at the Dhikala Forest rest house after the safari for your breakfast at the canteen. Afternoon have to be spent at the FRH premises as it’s not allowed for anyone to go out for safari at that time. After a sumptuous lunch at the canteen, you’ll leave again for your third safari. Our experienced drivers will cover all the promising areas and will wait at the perfect spots so that you’ll get to see the wildlife very clearly when they come out in open and also they’ll make sure that you should be getting a good angle to photograph them. All the safety measures will be followed and gypsy will be parked at a specific distance so that the animals won’t be bothered with the presence of humans around them. You’ll be back in the evening at the FRH and will retire for the day after the dinner. Image
Early morning Safari and Departure
Wake up early to leave as soon as possible for your last safari of the trip to encounter the beautiful landscape of Dhikala in first rays of the sun. This will be our last safari looking for whichever wild animals we can see so that we won’t have any regrets of missing anyone even if it’s Tiger, Elephants, the elusive Hog Deer or any rare bird of the area. We’ll be back for breakfast after safari and you’ll have to pack all your luggagr and set it up in the gypsy for your departure outside the park. At 11 am you’ll receive your clearance papers during check out. Set you luggage in the gypsy and drive towards the exit gate again through the same dense Sal Forest with lots of memories of the wild habitat and its inhabitants. You’ll be dropped back at Ramnagar city and with this farewell we’ll share the memories of your trip for the lifetime in hope to welcome you soon again to the magical land known as Corbett.
