As the name would suggest, hotel vikram vintage inn is old world meet modern architecture. Not that its perfect, but its definitely one that can be revisited again.nn:Location:- Situated just some 100 metres ahead (on an easily motorable road) from another good hotel in la niwassa, on the high court road . nGood enough parking with guards who will even sweep ur dirty car if tipped . nAs you enter the reception, one is greeted profusely by each waiter , porter and receptionist. nAsked politely for welcome drink of either a tea/coffee with heavenly cookies .. loved it .nnInsides:- What sets it apart from many other hotels in the area is the huge lobby with many photogenic areas n sofa sets . nnRoom;- Big and spacious, with king sized bed sufficient for 3 of a family . Well thought seating with 1 single sofa and 1 double seating sofa . nLoved the use of wood in the back of the bed and furniture .nAlso worthy is the balcony with its two door setting , revolving ones . I mean since monkeys usually abound in hills , one can just keep the glass door closed n let the sun seep in .nnAmenities:- old but efficient heater .nTea kettle , extra pillow n blankets , tata sky , good sized room mirror , comfy bed n tidy linen , Toiletry. Wooden flooring gave it the vintage look . nnBathroom;- Quite sufficient with demarcated toilet and bathing areas . Good use of lighting , must say . Huge washbasin area n mirror . nBut wat is * missing* is a single faucet in the bathing area . N one has to manage thru shower only . Also the knob for toilet flushin is set at very wrong location and too tight to use . nBreakfast buffet ?:- Awesome is the word .nI believe in quality over quantity. N they reciprocated the same in their buffet. Sufficient for two . Tasty omellets(do ask to avoid green chilli), with choice of brown /white bread , butter , jams , tea coffee , cold coffee , kellogs , .. nDosas , poha (both decent) nHeavenly sooji haluwa piping hot .nNon oily *kumao pakodas.nN mr. Nehwal who kept us entertained by his talks ! .nGood seating area with option of sitting in sun too .nn

The room is great and the view from the room is amazing. Liked the hospitality of the staff.nnA very good property to stay and peaceful.nnThe food is good. As a south Indian, I cant expect more than a good food.

Hii, I would like to share my experience about our stay at Nainital. nnResort was awesome, location, food, service,cleanliness of rooms and hotel were up to the mark, specifically thanks to Mr Vinod Joshi, As he helped from home to back reached home, so warmth hospitality. nnI Recommended this hotel.

The hotel is nice looking, clean and comfortable place to stay. It is a close to the centre (maybe around 20mins walk or a short taxi drive). The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel is near the centre (20 mins walk or short taxi), the hotel is well equipped and the staff

Fantastic setting, good service, very helpful staff, strongly recommended. We were provided with right information and right advise food was excellent. The hotel also took care of kids and arranged for a good Xmas celebration

The most exhilarating experience one can get all over Nanital is @ Vikram Vintage Inn. The specialty about the hotel is the staff that treats you like their own family and provides the best service to all. The food at Vikram Vintage is so delicious and has a lot of variety from north Indian, South Indian to Continental and much more, also they organise a lot of activities during the dinner such as an open mic for karaoke and live performances by pianists and singers, during our recent visit a huge screening for the Fifa world cup final was also organised. During our recent visit we lost a diamond ring (after world cup screening) the staff was kind to keep searching for it continously till it was found thanks to Mr. Harish and whole House keeping department for their support. Once again the best place to stay in Nanital is Vikram Vintage by all means! 🙂

Stayed for 3 nights in June’22. The hotel is though situated at a walking distance from Mall but due to uphill roads, may be tedious to commute. We were allotted a room at first floor with adjacent road view, the room was spacious as well as neat and clean and fitted with necessary amenities, the washroom was clean too. The hotel provides free pick-up and drop up to Mall Road up to 7 pm. During our stay, we used Mall Road drop for 2 days and other day we walked down, which was reasonably comfortable. As pick-up from Mall Road was up to 7 pm only, we opted for own arrangement to commute, one day we walked, which was tedious, and other days used local taxi, that charged Rs. 300 for hotel drop from Mall Road, which was quite exorbitant. Our package was inclusive of breakfast and dinner. The buffet breakfast and dinner had sufficient veg and non-veg options including live counters, the foods were tasty too. The hotel also organizes some fun / music events in the evening with complimentary tea and snacks for the guest, which is a welcome initiative. The Manager / staffs were courteous and responsive. Overall a good and comfortable hotel to stay at Nainital but not close to Mall Road.
